Curious how well your dog can trail a human scent in a realistic environment?
The BMT Sleuth Dog Canine Trailing Trial is a nonprofit-hosted event designed to evaluate a dog’s ability to follow a specific human trail for up to a quarter mile. This trial is not about speed or pressure - it’s about teamwork, observation, and allowing your dog to work naturally.
Handlers will experience a structured, real-world trailing setup that supports learning and insight, whether you are new to canine trailing or training regularly.
This event supports Bloodhound Man-Trackers (BMT), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Event fees directly support BMT’s mission, equipment, and ongoing nonprofit work.
Come curious, bring your teamwork, and let your dog do the work.
If more teams apply than available spots, teams will be selected by random draw. Once drawn and confirmed, teams will receive a payment link, waiver forms, and a randomly assigned time slot.
