About the event
🐾 The Path to Trailing Success🐾
Join us for a fun and informative afternoon with Frank Hurst, President and co-founder of Bloodhound Man Trackers, Inc.
Frank has thousands of hours of K9 trailing experience. He and his K9 partners have assisted over 50 law enforcement agencies throughout the country in tracking, trailing and human remains detection.
Frank is proud to be a member of NecroSearch International as a Decomposing Human Scent K9 Handler and a resource for NCMEC (the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). Frank has testified several times as an expert witness with his K9 partners.
Frank will discuss:
🔎 Handling techniques for success
🐾 How to read your dog as they work through scent pools and intersections
🐾 Reading the weather and how it changes the search
🐾 Working teams will have the opportunity to demonstrate the techniques on short trail sections
Whether you’re building foundations or ready for a new challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about successful trailing with your dog. Working spots are limited and will be filled by a random draw.
This event supports Bloodhound Man-Trackers (BMT), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Event fees directly support BMT’s mission, equipment, training, and ongoing nonprofit work.
Come curious, ready to learn, and enjoy the journey.
